Life isn’t a single straight line…
It is made up of multiple ARCs, each rising, falling, shaping and reshaping who you are. Some ARC begin with excitement and possibility, climbing toward moments of achievement or discovery. Others dip into struggle, uncertainty, or loss, forcing you to slow down and reflect. Each ARC has its own lessons and turning points and even when one seems to end abruptly, it quietly feeds into the next. Together, these ARCs create a larger story—not defined by constant success or failure, but by growth, resilience and change. Your life becomes meaningful not because every ARC is perfect, but because each one adds depth to the person you are becoming.
Choosing to begin counseling can mark the start of a new ARC in your life—one defined by greater self-awareness, intentional choices and a clearer sense of direction. This ARC isn’t only about focusing on your past or present difficulties, but about becoming a more grounded, empowered and authentic version of yourself as you move forward.
Counseling and therapy can be powerful tools for improving your life because they create a safe space to understand yourself more deeply, work through challenges and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding. Through honest reflection and guidance, therapy helps you let go of patterns that no longer serve you and build skills that support growth, resilience and self-confidence.
If it feels like it's time to begin your next ARC, schedule a complimentary consultation to help you determine if ARC Therapy will be a part of your journey.
During the course of his 20 years of experience, David has incorporated person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused interventions and motivational interviewing to help clients achieve their clinical goals. He brings enthusiasm and curiosity to sessions that allow for clinical discussions to be energizing. David most frequently works with teens and young adults experiencing varying degrees of anxiety, trauma, parent/child conflict, substance abuse issues and neurodiversity. David also sees adults and couples consistently.
David enjoys connecting with clients by learning about their interests and activities, while weaving clinical concepts into sessions. When appropriate and supported by adolescent clients, parents are invited into treatment by way of family or parent only sessions. When clients indicate an interest, David will also engage in more complex, philosophical discussions about mindfulness and enlightenment. David enjoys recommending content for clients to consume outside of sessions and when clients share something they encountered and found meaningful.
When David is not providing outpatient services, he spends his time exercising, playing golf, traveling and spending time with his wife and two sons.
